I should probably make it so that entry creators can edit their own entries

You are correct. Since there generally are no crisp one-to-one matchings between MBTI and Enneatypes, various versions of subtypes described by the polls with caricatured names are able to distinguish them. I enjoy these polls - there would be no point in trying to define them if there were no diversity within the correlates.

Perfect occasion to add a more accessible edit function.

For me, it's simply a matter of wondering "what if tritype as we know it were to be like the alternative tritype, how would that effect my view of the more traditional tritype types."

Well.
In the Alternative Enneagram polls, there are many different variations of the same thing on there(e.g. "9w8: The Cat", "9w8: The Last Option", "9w1: The Mystic", "9w1: The Forgotten").

I honestly don't know lol, but what I've noticed is that when, let's say, comparing different 9w1 polls, the votes(by basically the same users) usually differ on a lot of levels.
Like, for both of the 9w1 polls, LadyX has voted ISFP on one and ISFJ on the other(not calling out anyone, just using an example).

Maybe it's because of the differing names? They might come off as different ways of perceiving the said type, which would also explain the different votes.
It might also be there to remind people to vote for the entries again?
