She has a similar character archetype as Kurisu from Steins;Gate (both are even INTJ 5w6 Thinking-doms) which makes the two characters good examples of Jung's two thinking types because that is one of the areas they diverge (introverted in her case, extraverted in Kurisu's case. Akira does not wait for the facts to completely catch up with her theory, while Kurisu is always putting the hold on theory which doesn't have a solid "objective" backing.
