	Spoilers for Danganronpa v3 This is my old comment on her: No, she's definitely not an INFP. Where's the Fi? She's honestly almost the exact opposite of an Fi-user when you consider how self-blind she is; there is no consistency in her character, no apparent inner sense of morality, and she has so little regard for who she truly is—nothing about Tsumugi Shirogane's personality truly comes from within. Tsumugi does have an important message, though. She details the futility of everything in their world of Danganronpa, highlighting how them being in a fictional world made for the outside world's entertainment shows how helpless everyone is to their circumstances, an ugly secret that Tsumugi was aware of from the start. She just knows how Danganronpa will turn out and urges everyone participating in the killing game that they give in to the audience's wishes because there isn't any other way—this is her grand, singular, nihilistic vision. She is Ni dominant. Tsumugi is also able to adapt to her various different personas through the aid of her auxiliary function, and she is ultimately able to manipulate her character and stir the social scene in a way that would lead up to the events that take place at the very end. You may interpret it being possibly Te, but there is nothing abrasive, blunt or objective about her on the surface; she uses her understanding of logic only to aid her understanding of how to work with her social scene, which is totally an Fe/Ti thing. Tsumugi Shirogane is an INFJ. There was one trial where Shuichi actually pointed out that someone was intentionally steering the conversation to go in a certain direction to distract from something, but he wasn't able to catch who it was. I looked over the transcript and noticed Tsumugi—quiet, passive, unassuming Tsumugi—had been the one to move the conversation along, and she'd done it so inconspicuously that the Ultimate Detective didn't notice. I have absolutely no doubt that she is an Ni-dom. Just kidding! Tsumugi Shirogane the persona is an ISFP 9. Tsumugi Shirogane the truth teller is maybe an INTP. Her persona is much easier to type—she's a spacey wallflower who goes with the flow and makes anime references that totally go over my head, but I think people might mistake rher "dreaminess" for intuition. There really isn't anything intuitive about her; she's all about facts, details, and events like they happen. The "real" Tsumugi Shirogane is probably slightly more intuitive, but I really was considering typing her S even after her grand reveal. Her intuition is definitely more hidden and I think it really only shows when she starts outright lying about things. She seems to have a fairly good understanding of a more abstract layer beneath all of the details that she only shows openly toward the very end. I wasn't really sure if she would be perceiver but I think she's chameleonic and adaptable in a way which would bode well with a P typing; Tsumugi seems to be able to work with her circumstances very well and doesn't seem to "seal" decisions in a way that would point toward her being a judger. I don't think she would be a feeler just because she doesn't seem to hold an actual concern for maintaining harmony, being tactful, expressing compassion, favouring subjective decision making, etc. And where did 4w5 come from? She hardly has an identity to begin with. Tsumugi has no regard for "searching for an identity" or "cultivating her emotions" or any 4-ish concerns. She's almost like a blank slate! I don't really think she can be given an enneagram type since she doesn't really seem to have any motivations or fears relating to the nine types. Maybe 5w6 would be her best fit but it's still a horrible best fit! In the end, we still don't really know Tsumugi Shirogane. And no—that doesn't make her an INFP 4. that thing Tsumugi was distracting from was that the killer in chapter 4 was actually Keebo. He is an object—not a player—and his voice was heard during the murder. He was the closest to the crime scene, and all of the evidence leading up to the killer being Gonta was ultimately insufficient. We had a false execution earlier on after all, didn't we? I haven't really changed my mind since then, but I think she might still be a senser. She's aware of a "truth" and accepts it as a fact, yet there isn't an "imaginative" fitting of the narrative into what she believes--it's still very much concrete within all its complications. Her reality is simply skewed from what we had been perceiving it as, so it makes no sense to give her an N typing for being a prophet of a profound truth that she hadn't personally conceived. She's just a communicator, albeit a capable one when it comes to dramatizing the delivery.
