I also got this on the socionics test today, though I put an equal amount of feeling and thinking answers:

I think one of the causes for my confusion is the fact I often relate to both of the comparisons of two types. Here's a good example:

"9w1s simplify things, 5w4s complexify them" I do both in different ways

The other confusion lays in the fact my unhealthy self is different from the healthy me. While healthy I can seem optimistic and spontaneous. While unhealthy I can become a selfish, narcissistic (not trying to use this word too lightly), cold perfectionist. But learning about personality stress vs growth makes all that seem less confusing than other things related to me. Also taking the wings into consideration.

As for the variants and others opinion on them, I could understand why either 9w1 sp/so or 9w1 sp/sx would be correct. I often times daydream about intimacy and grew up that way. But at the same time, I'm highly concerned with keeping an internet audience.

I'm equal sx-so I think, but I agree with being a self-perserving dominant because I mostly focus on myself and my own personal comfort, as well as satisfying myself. I can be extremely withdrawn as well but I get used to things with age.

If you want me to be truely honest, NONE of the personality types explain other things related to me. I could always come up with reasons on why INFP is right or why INFP is wrong, the same goes for other types as well.

All I know is that I'm not an ESxx type.....

I think my possible tritypes/enneagram is a lot more obvious than any particular MBTI.
