same thing still goes here on paper, "religious" here just means you're baptised and went through a couple church ceremonies in school which everyone does anyway and is pretty misleading statistics-wise, I doubt close to 4/5 of the US population (especially <20 years old) is anything close to religious but then again I can't prove that

	It's not even just the small rural US though. It's pretty much everywhere except the cities. Sure hardcore fundamentalism is more of a rural Southern thing, but it's pretty much just assumed, no matter where you live, that you're Christian and at the very least believe in God. The statistics back this up, although also showing that irreligiosity is gradually becoming more prominent. I'm happy for you that you happen to live in a country where religion is dead, but the US is a large part of the modern world too and it's just different there.

	Religious ideas themselves are very N, sure. But this is an adjective that is meant to describe people, isn't it? That's what I assumed, since the other word entries are clearly meant to be adjectives describing people. If we're typing irreligion as a concept, then I think it would be best described as ISTP. But if we're using irreligious to describe people, then I still think INTP fits better because of the context surrounding modern religions.

Religion is spirituality with a really vague and obscure handbook that's still interpreted differently by almost everyone to this day, there's 7 billion people who all have their own ties to it but you're not typing all irreligious people, just the concept of irreligion, and spirituality with the promise of an eternal utopian twist completely disconnected from anything you can prove will never not be N, you literally can't find anything more detached and conceptual while the motivations for not supporting it pretty much always come down to "...but you can't prove it"

	If we're talking world population, then most people are statistically raised by religious parents. "Only an estimated 10% of the world’s newborns between 2010 and 2015 were born to religiously unaffiliated mothers" (pew research statistics). But I understand that it differs according to culture, that's why I said -- "at least in countries like the U.S." -- where around 77% of people claim to be religious and we get constant crap like this. In Europe obviously it's much different (and I low-key envy this >.<). Another thought: as far as agnosticism goes... wouldn't they also fall under "irreligious"? They're not actively participating in a religion so wouldn't that make them "disinterested" regardless of their openness to possibile gods/spiritual concepts? I guess if those were the reasons, then it would be more S. But why do you think "lack of curiosity" or "denial because of a lack of proof" are any more valid reasons for opposing/not finding interest in religion than "using critical thinking" or "disliking religious dogma and tradition"? I guess maybe either S or N could be justified depending on your understanding of this word and its implications.

I live where most of people are religious and some are very judgemental and self-righteous. Don't take everything personally.

	Teru Mikami, being religous doesn't mean that you are open to the the possibility of something larger, it means that you have a set beliefs that are specific to a religion and you live acording to those beliefs, among the intuitives INFJs and ENFJs probably are more religous because of Fe and they like spiritual activities. Most of religous people are not particularly open minded.

Mostly because hardly anyone actually holds that position. Also because none of the definitions I found say anything about having 100% certainty that nothing is out there. I'm pretty much going by the Cambridge dictionary definition: "having no interest in religion, or generally opposed to religion". That implies nothing about agnosticism vs gnosticism.

Many nonreligious people seem to be intuitive because it takes a lot of deep and critical thinking to escape religious indocrination and societal reinforcement, at least in countries like the U.S. where certain religions are the norm. Plus, most religions today, aside from the new-agey stuff, are very traditional and conservative -- things most intuitives don't find very attractive.
