7s don't crave going to church in the first place. Even if megachurches can be more "exciting" it's still the same old thing every week, preaching about how great god is and heaven and hell and sin and all that (that's my impression anyway, please correct me if I'm wrong). There are way more exciting things I'm sure 7s would rather do. I'd also argue 6s may like charismatic leaders more than 7s. 6s often like to have someone to trust and look up to, and charismatic leaders can fill that role.

As for Evangelical Protestantism as a religion (what I thought this entry was referring to) -- that definitely isn't 7. It is extremely against "worldliness" and hedonism. It does value the idea of having faith and following god's guidance though, which are pretty 6-ish traits. It also includes strict rules with many limits on freedom, another thing that is kind of anti-7.

5s and 6s don't crave the excitement of a megachurch or a charismatic leader the way 7s do.

Also, lots of "born agains" fall off the wagon repeatedly and run off on benders, only to return to church and re-commit once they crash - very 7ish.
