All across the internet, I can find articles ranging from 2001 to 2018 comparing marinara sauce and tomato sauce, but not ketchup.  Never ketchup.  Is this British favoritism at work within a globally connected culture shared between all English speaking people or is it a basic human trait, fear of change, laziness?

We can see in trends focusing on general directions of change within our language over time, but do we directly influence it?
Can Prince Harry influence it?

I believe he does, intentionally.
