It is clear that you'd believe the statistics and tritype at any cost. I am done trying to reason with you.

My outrage is due to this type of thing being news to you. 6s often want to be the more accepted type hence why the males want to be 3s or 8s and the women often want to be 2s or 4s. The 9s don't tend to think highly of themselves but they tend to think they are too much to be a 9 since the descriptions make it sound like 9s only value peace and being positive.

My diagnosis of your outrage is that as a 3 you happen to value external prestige and external valuations of worth highly.

9s and 6s less so, and they will not worry about whether they "amount to much" since they enjoy dear friendships and supportive relationships with real people.

I never implied that 6s are exclusively sensors just that it doesn't look good for intuitives since people keep pegging 6s as normies. You're just cletching at straws, again.

No statistics support your contention that 6s are exclusively sensors.

The magnificent statistic for the 6 is that is spans all the Myers Briggs types - the only Enneagram type do do so.

There is no why that i'd be able to come up with the amount of statistics that would override your assumption that most INFPs are 4s because 1) They often clearly want to be 4s over 9 and 6. 2) They often think they are 4s because the enneagram authors don't seem to think that 9s and 6s will amount to much. Thousands of INFPs think they are 4s and they are clinging onto that image of themselves and they will be reluctant to take second best which is what 9w1 is often seen as while type 6 is seen as a straight-up insult to them,.

You are cletching at straws at this point. I have plenty of evidence of how easy it is for an INFP to assume they are a 4w5 but you'll believe what you want to believe. Clinging onto stereotypes is what keeps making 6 intuitives not identify as 6s because they think it is a sensor type.

Statistics don't lie but can easily be misinterpreted.

But no statistics --> no argument worth listening to.

Whether you are a lawyer or a scientist a precedent or a hypothesis must be employed.

Your experiences don't count because you clearly value type 4 highly and that is why you tend to gravite towards INFP 4s. You even compared 9w1s to type 2 which shows how little you know about 9w1 INFPs.

Those PerC users know what they are talking about. Some 'individualist' you are, when you blindly trust statistics. It is clear that 4s, 5s and 8s are put on a pedestal and most would want to identify as those types.

That 10% of 4s is mostly depressed INFP 9w1s and INFP 6w5s that don't fit the SJ 6 stereotypes.

I'm not implying that 4s are too special to be common but it should be obvious that 4s and 8s aren't common to most people. Stastics are based mostly on what people want to be based on descriptions not on actual motivations.

INFPs are mostly 9w1s followed by 6w5s, get over it since that clearly doesn't fit your image of the INFP. 4's are rare.

ISFPs are divided predominantly between 4w3 and 9w8.

ISFP very rarely correlates with 9w1.

Please check your sources.

Misidentification between introverted 2 and 9w1 is well-known - often co-existing in the tritype, and especially for the ISFJ.

Statistics from multiple sources suggest the following in US:

INFPs are about 6% of population

Enneagram 4s are about 10% of population

Nearly half of all 4s are INFP, the others fit into 9, 6 and 2.

If 9w1s were like 2s then most 9w1s wouldn't be ISFPs. The fact that 4s are clearly rare should be enough of a source and INFPs are quite common.
